🚫 Banned Items – Create Server Balance

These items have been disabled to preserve the integrity and progression of Create-based automation. Most of them belong to ComputerCraft or Advanced Peripherals, and allow bypassing gameplay mechanics or automating beyond what Create normally enables.

Turtles are programmable robots that can move, mine, build, and interact with blocks autonomously.
❌ Reason: They can completely replace Create contraptions and bypass physical constraints.

🧠 advancedperipherals:husbandry_automata_core

Automates breeding and animal interactions.
❌ Reason: Allows passive automation of farms without using Create's mechanics (e.g. mechanical harvesters, deployers).

🧠 advancedperipherals:end_automata_core

Automates end-game tasks.
❌ Reason: Overpowered for progression; bypasses resource gating and late-game effort.

🧠 advancedperipherals:weak_automata_core

General-purpose automation core.
❌ Reason: Still provides too much scripting control, automating actions that should require machines.

Allows programmatic access to multiple inventories.
❌ Reason: Skips logistic challenges that Create solves with belts, funnels, and mechanical arms.

Scans blocks underground.
❌ Reason: Breaks exploration; provides x-ray-like capability that bypasses the need for prospecting with Create.

Integrates with MineColonies.
❌ Reason: Not useful in this context, and may allow automation not aligned with Create gameplay.

Stores arbitrary NBT data.
❌ Reason: Can be exploited for custom item/data storage beyond normal gameplay.

A creative-mode only computer with full command access.
❌ Reason: Complete server control via commands — creative-only item.

Forces chunk loading.
❌ Reason: Breaks Create’s intended chunk behavior, creates lag and unintended automation while offline.

Detects energy flow programmatically.
❌ Reason: Bypasses energy management systems (e.g., rotation or stress-based power in Create).

Same as previous automata cores, but stronger versions.
❌ Reason: Extremely OP — gives full automation power with little effort or risk.

✅ Philosophy

The Create mod encourages mechanical creativity, problem-solving, and visible automation. These banned items:

• Automate too much with too little.

• Break progression and make Create machines irrelevant.

• Are often invisible and too efficient, reducing the satisfaction of designing contraptions.
